MJ’s Girly Abode

Description

I am a girly girl and I wanted nothing more than for my sweet girls room to be as girly as possible!  I was on a budget after purchasing the furniture so a lot of the elments are made by your truly.

Design Inspiration

Pink and girly!  I didn't start the room off having a theme.  I just bought the crib of my dreams and put the things I love around it.

Decorating Style

Traditional

Project Details

The kissing balls behind the crib were made by pomping 4 inch squares of satin into styrofoam balls.  My curtains were a $10 Ross find that I dressed up with pretty beads and ribbon.  The bow holder was garage sale find that I simply spray painted and added ribbon too.  I love the vintage gold metal chair, it belonged to my husbands grandmother.  The chair was her vanity chair in her childhood bedroom.  The mirror was a 90% off clearance frame at Hobby Lobby that I spray painted and added 10 coats of glitter too.  I found the 3 foot "M" on Etsy.

Girly girl indeed! Good to hear that you did the decors and the details yourself. Good luck with the baby girl.
