Mint and Pink Nursery for Georgia

Description

Soft mint and pink girly nursery for our first child, without being over the top frilly. Her nursery was a labour of love and we spent the better part of my pregnancy researching, shopping and constructing; the final shelves were installed the day my water broke :-)

Design Inspiration

The bedding from Caden Lane was the jumping off point for her nursery, it set the tone and color palate for the room

Decorating Style

We knew from the beginning that we didn't want a theme for the nursery other than 'pretty' and that we wanted something she could easily grow into from an infant into a little girl. Pinterest and Project Nursery were great sources of inspiration and we jumped on the mint and pink bandwagon.

Favorite Items

I love that her dresser used to be her grandmas, it looks gorgeous with new paint and hardware. The Where the Wild Things Are inspired print is handmade by my husband; I hope it's something she treasures as much as I do.

Advice

Find an inspiration be it fabric, paint color or a piece of art, and run with it.
