Description
This year for my nephew's ninth birthday he was very specific about what kind of party he wanted. He was dying to have a Minecraft party. He wanted a fondant covered Minecraft cake. I went to work, dying to get it right.
Design Inspiration
The whole inspiration for the party was around a Minecraft cake.
Decorating Style
I kept it modern. His main concern was that he didn't want it to look girlie or too childish.
Project Details
For the favors, we had set up a candy bar on the cake table. The kids had such a great time helping themselves.
Favorite Items
My favorite item had to be the Minecraft cake. My nephew was beyond impressed. He also loved all the signs for the food.
Advice
Draw out a design plan. I never go into any event & wing it.

Amazing job on this party. I can't show my boys because they will be so jealous. Minecraft is an obsession around here!
