Description
Being 8 months pregnant and running after a wild 2 year old is no excuse for the delay. Here is a peek at Max’s nursery in our New York City pied-a-terre and how we made him comfy and happy in his home away from home.
Design Inspiration
We wanted Max to have a bedroom and bathroom that are decorated appropriately for a 2 year old yet modern and stylish. The Espadrille fabric for the rocker and the Flor carpet tiles set the tone that we wanted: cool and fun.
Decorating Style
We like playful prints, colors, and a clean look.

Favorite Items
Oh, there is so much that we like. I really love the custom fabric that we used on the rocking chair. It’s just so fun and unique. I also like the Dwell Studio bedding that we used on the crib and twin bed. We had custom designed wall decals to match the animals from the bedding and cool aqua color scheme – that was a fun touch too.

The more sites I visit the more I realize that most of them don’t live up to their promise, but this one is different. I love it. Thank you for the Modern Blue Nursery | Project Nursery posting. Cindy Kerr.
