Description
A girlie, but modern antique nursery for my sweet baby girl who was born in August. It is a mix of bold color, soft textures, and gilded touches. There are a few antique pieces and items from my nursery combined with more modern decor to keep it fresh.
Design Inspiration
I wanted a timeless look with a hint of regency. I was drawn to coral my entire pregnancy, so I chose other colors to compliment it while keeping much of the room white as not to over power the room.
Decorating Style
Traditional, but fun.

Favorite Items
I absolutely love the custom antique campaign dresser. The pop of color in the room makes it fun and the lacquer finish gives the room some extra elegance. I also really love the antique prints of the little girl and her dog. They hung in my nursery and it is special that I could incorporate them into Mary's.
Advice
If you are going to go with wallpaper but are wary of the price and the long term commitment, try just doing one wall and chose wallpaper that is easily removed. Pick the paper before anything else in the room, then add on from there. It is going to be a big statement and you do not want the room to be too busy.
This is just beautiful! Great color combo with the pinks, coral, navy, and brass. Fabulous job.
