Description
I wanted to use some of the furniture I already had, and painting the crib turned out beter than I could have ever imagined! I love the dark pink accents, and the teal and gray seem to work perfectly together. It's my favorite room in the house! :-)
Design Inspiration
I fell in LOVE with the Lila bedding from Caden Lane. I just wanted to "accent" with the chevron print - and the bedding, changing pad cover, and storage boxes did just that.
Decorating Style
I love clean lines and color. I wanted a fun & whimsical nursery that could grow with Maddie, and still work with her in her big girl room!
Project Details
I used the crib from my son's nursery, and had a local painter refinish it in teal to match the bedding - I love how it gave it a fresh look, and it was cheaper than buying a new crib!
Most of the items I purchased from a local store in San Antonio, Nursery Couture: the rug, glider & ottoman, accent pillow (which they monogramed for me), and her blanket! The large letter "M" I also purchased from them in solid pink, and then my mom made most of the flowers and decorated the M for me - I think it added the perfect touch to her name!
The curtains & pink chevron storage baskets were from Land of Nod.
The "addie" part of her name is a vinyl sticker I purchased on etsy.
Favorite Items
I love the bedding & Maddies name above the crib! The pink, teal, peach, and white were the color pallete for the entire nursery - and I LOVE how the neutral gray walls, and teal ceiling perfectly compliment eachother! Adding the molding around the room seperated the colors, and it makes the ceiling look huge!

It looks like the bedding is Caden Lane. Search for Lila for the chevron pattern. I’m not certain which crib sheet that is though. Good luck with your nursery!
I have had no luck finding that bed set. Where can I find it? I’m in love with it!!

I would just like to know how much the bedding is?

Im looking everywhere for this bed set and I cant find it :'(
Where did you get the curtains? I love them and want to use them in my nursery!
what colors did you use for the paint?
What brand/color is the gray paint? I am having a horrible time finding the right shade of gray!
What kind of paint and technique did you use to paint the crib? I want to paint and existing crib that I have but I am at a loss for what to do to make sure the paint is safe and will not come off easily with everyday wear and tear.
Love the M and and even the coordinating changing pad cover! Really adorable :-)
It’s Caden Lane. I got it at a fabulous store in San Antonio called Nursey Couture
