Description
Fun, colorful & modern nursery. White walls are the perfect backdrop for bright pops of color in the furniture, wall art & accessories. A bold blue navy wall helps to give the illusion of depth in the small space. It also makes the white crib pop. This room was created to stand the test of time & not need to be redone once our son is a "big boy".
Design Inspiration
The main inspiration was to spark our child's imagination. The room is very colorful & contrasty. Illustrations, artwork & bright colors that constantly keep his eyes wandering. We also wanted to design a room that didn't feel "baby", so we wouldn't have to do a room makeover once he is a "big boy".
Decorating Style
The style of the room is very modern, fun & colorful.

Favorite Items
There are so many things I adore in this room! I LOVE his changing table & how the zig zags in the curtains match perfectly. The blue side table with the yellow lamp look awesome against the white wall. The animal prints by Ryan Berkley are too much fun and the Moon nightlight is perfection.
Advice
Make a design board! It's easy to find lots of pieces that you love, but how they will work together once in place is tricky. Before we bought anything we played around with configuring everything to make sure the pieces made sense together.

I love this room and it has really inspired me! The paint color is perfect, woud you please share what that is? I am looking for a deep purply/blue and this one really pops w/out being too dark.

I like what you did with the wall, what with those vintage padlocks and framed artworks. Lots of interesting items, too. This room would also be great for when your baby grows to be a toddler, and then into a little big boy.
