We wanted a personalized and meaningful theme for our little boy's nursery.

Design Inspiration

We chose a Boy Scout/Camping theme based off my husband's love for camping and the fact that both he, and his dad, were Eagle Scouts.

Decorating Style

I would describe the style as Classic Vintage Simplicity.

Favorite Items

My favorite item in the room is the handmade gingham quilt made by my best friend. I also love the Teddie Bear that was my husband's, made for him when his father passed away out of his dad's old shirt.

Advice

Do as much as you can yourself.  We built a bookshelf and planked the wall behind the crib.  It makes the nursery that much more special - putting that much work into it.  Also share details of your nursery with others.  We got a lot of gifts from loved ones that fit perfectly into our nursery.
