Little Miss’s Damask Nursery

Description

Our first little girl's nursery, pretty in pink for a princess to be!

Design Inspiration

I love damask patterns-the day I found out I was pregnant I googled baby damask bedding and fell in love with a bedding from Carousel Designs.  I designed the room around the bedding.

Decorating Style

A little bit of everything-but nothing too modern.

Favorite Items

My favorite item in this room is the white corner hutch.  It belonged to my grandmom and we painted it white and included it in Little Miss's nursery-I love it.

Advice

Picking a theme before you decide on a room seems to be the easiest route for me!

I think am having a pink and white overload :)  Seriously, I find that it's sweet to have this room for your baby girl.  Has she arrived?  A suggestion though, maybe you could add some accents and decorations here that would somehow break the pink and white.  Maybe a pouf or pompoms.

This room is adorable, and I'm not usually a pink fan! The light wood floor is a nice combination with it too...I only have one thing to suggest. I feel like the art (white frame with ribbon) should be brought down a bit! I think it would draw even more interest to the space and allow both the curtains and the art to pop on their own. With them hung at the same level, your eye isn't sure which to look at.  I always use the "art at eye level" rule when hanging any wall item.
