little loves nest

our first child's nursery

Design Inspiration

the babies gender is a suprise. we wanted to create a space that was neutral and fun. including branches and birdcages to make a whimsical-outdoor feel. and we just wanted to be creative!

Decorating Style

mixing vintage materials with new atristic ideas.

Project Details

we used a mustard yellow for the walls with a manilla white on the stencils and tree branches. we used a salmon colored king size sheet to cover a wall. We also used an antique table cloth as a closet curtian.

Favorite Items

love the tree branches and bird cages, reminds me of our outdoor wedding. also love the stencils.

you can do so many things for cheap or free! be creative and use your imagination.

What are the white decals supposed to be? They look like bats. Bats are very beneficial and necessary don't get me wrong, it just looks a little strange in a nursery.Love the tree branch, bird cage and crib style though.
