Project Details
The dessert table is always a focal point so I like to use a painters canvas to create a lovely backdrop. I simply wrap fabric around the board and use heavy duty tape to secure it to the back. It's easy to remove later and use for another event.
Favorite Items
I love that each table was unique and different but all coordinated together.
Advice
Create your centerpiece around a single element or idea and then use what you have (books, votive candles, figurines, etc.) to round out the look.

A little birdies theme is really cute. You used nice and warm colors, too. A lot of the things you used in your decorations were DIY or were things you already have, right?

Thanks Dandelion. I made the nest favors. They are melted chocolate with crunchy chow mein noodles and shredded wheat cereal mixed in. The "eggs" are jordan almonds.

That nest looks like the real thing. Where did you get that? I also love that vintage-looking bird house on one of the tables.
