With the costs that come with a new baby, we couldn't afford to go crazy with our nursery, but we still wanted something beautiful and feminine for our baby girl. Almost everything in the nursery was second hand or DIY, costing a total of around $500.
I wanted to go for a beautiful and feminine shabby chic look.
Girly, but not over the top.
Bookcase: Free. This was being thrown out by someone in our neighborhood so I took it and gave it a new coat of paint. Looks like new!

Definitely the bookcase! Who would ever want to get rid of it?
