Lilac & Gray Nursery

Description

For this nursery I went with sophisticated elegance. I used purple and gray as the base color palette and bright blue accents to give the room a vibrant pop of color. I decided on the glass columns and a gray ceiling to introduce a new style to the room while staying within the decided color scheme.

Design Inspiration

My inspiration was three acrylic paint colors that I found in a craft store while shopping for gender-neutral room elements. The three colors were so perfect together that it inspired me to work them into my next room design.

Decorating Style

Eclectic. I bring different room elements and styles together to create a bespoke result that provide functionality and draws from both current and timeless style elements.

Project Details

This project was created with so many different elements. The top highlights for me are the gray painted ceiling and the glass florescent tile columns. The tiles were purchased at a wholesale tile store and were my perfect find!

Advice

Don’t be afraid to shop local handmade shops that you can find on Etsy, Instagram and all over social media. This adds unique character to a room that chain stores mostly cannot provide. Also, don’t be afraid of color! No matter what your color scheme is, there is always a way to bring it together.
