Description
We didn't find out the gender of our precious (now baby girl) so we wanted to create a gender neutral nursery. I tried to get inspiration from PN on gender neutral, I still feel like it's hard to find gender neutral nurseries. I wanted a very light and airy feel. Lots of white, to make the room look larger. The nursery doesn't get that much light so I wanted to use lots of light colors.
Design Inspiration
My inspiration was pastels. I love yellow and based a lot of the room off a pastel yellow. Also, my handmade curtains have a pop of yellow fabric around the sides, this was important to me to have subtle colorful curtains!

Favorite Items
My favorite item, and splurge item is the Nursery Works slate storytime rocker as well as my handmade curtains. The hot air balloons were also a great find that I am so happy with!
Advice
It's easy to carried away with baby/nursery items. I wanted simple, not a lot of clutter but with a pastel light feel. If you have a budget stick with it. We had one splurge item, that was exciting to have my splurge item. You have to be excited about the room.
I envisioned a bright room and have accomplished just that!
