Very clean and classy looking nursery. It doesn’t look too girly and too baby-ish, but looks like a real nursery nevertheless. I love the personal touches you added in this room.

The little booties rack is simply adorable! Very cute! I also like the framed artworks you added. They are subtle, don’t necessarily scream for attention yet very noticeable, and they really add an interesting touch to the room’s overall look. Very nicely done.

Question…I contacted the Etsy store about the bedding you had her make for you and she mentioned that you purchased the fabric for the sheet/quilt on the chair elsewhere.  Where did you get the fabric?  I’d love to get some like it.  Thanks!

Hi – in regards to the sheet…I actually looked high & low & ended up finding it on amazon.com.  It’s a discontinued bedding set but they still had the sheets left so I ordered 2.  One for the crib & one for the quilt to be made.  Since I couldn’t find the bedding set anywhere, I just found different fabrics that I liked to coordinate with it.

Here is the link to the sheet.  In terms of the other fabrics, I found them (send her the links to them) & tiptoestudio ordered them for me.  All I did was send her the sheet to make the quilt & she did the rest.  Very easy & I thought the quality/craftsmanship turned out amazing!!

If you’re interested in the rest of the bedding fabric I used I can dig that info up as well – just let me know.  Otherwise – tiptoe studio probably has it on record too.

        Good Luck!

Thanks so much!  I would love to know what the other bedding fabrics are that you used if you can find them!  Looks like your bumper is a gingham and the skirt is polka dotted???  It is hard to see them in the pix.

grey dots (crib skirt): “ava rose polka dot grey”

Love your nursery. Very cute! Would you mind posting some instructions on how you created the shelf/ledge that runs along the room? We want to create something similar in our girls room :) thank you.

The room already had the built in shelving all the way around.   We live in San Francisco & in an early 1900’s flat & so many of them already have really cool features – we were pretty lucky – perfect for a nursery!

We really like your babies room =) great job! we were wondering what color are the walls? white or an off white color? Also we bought the wood alphabet and were wondering did you glue it on to a yellow canvas and did you leave the wood alphabet the same color as it came? Thanks for the helpful links and info you put on here! Have a great day =)

Thanks!  The walls were already painted when we moved in, but they are more of an off-white/egg shell color with a yellow undertone to it.  Unfortunately our landlord didn’t keep the paint so I’m not sure of the exact brand/color.

In terms of the alphabet, I went to a local art supply store & bought a cheap canvas & stapled a fabric I had bought on it.  Then I sewed (really just tacked) the wood alphabet to the canvas – in the 4 corners.  I kept the wood as is & didn’t paint it or anything.

        Hope that helps!

love your nursery! I picked out bedding I liked that was light yellow, grey and white and was feeling stuck on how to decorate the rest of the room. Yours has inspired me! Especially love those animal pictures – thanks for listing where you found them!

The pink animal is the jellycat brand which should be easy to find if you just google it. They have adorable stuffed animals in all colors & sizes.
