Green and White crisp clean lines and simple accessories with gold trimmings.
The nursery was inspired by the original kate spade shopping bags, green and white stripes with a gold trim.
Clean and Traditional with a little modern edge thrown in.
My husband painted everything and is amazing! The furniture is from GA Baby and Kids (various manufacturers), the glider is from Best, and then carpet tiles are FLOR. The light is from Overstock and the custom artwork (purses) are from Etsy. The bedding was fabric purchased at JoAnn's and made by a friend.
My favorite items is the ceiling. My daughter is now 10 months and she still loves looking up at the bright stripes! It's so cheery and happy.
Buy a laser level for the painting job and use a credit card to seal painter's tape before painting stripes! It will make for a clean rip later.

[…] Kate Spade Inspired Nursery by awightwick Sabrina, of Project Nursery, says, “This room would make Kate Spade so proud! It’s a perfect example of how taking a risk, with those green stripes on ceiling, pays off in the most rewarding manner. It’s also a good example of a small nursery made to feel bigger with stripes.” Click Here for More Photos and Details […]

Can you explain how you painted the frame border? Did you use a stencil and if so, where did you get it? So amazing! Thanks.
