Kambel Kaye’s Coco Dot Nursery

When we found out we were pregnant, the ideas for the nursery started flowing! I went on to Pinterest and Project Nursery and started looking for ideas for both boy and girl nurseries. We were in the process of moving in a couple months so I was anxious to get moved in and get to work!

 

Design Inspiration

I had initially wanted a shabby chic nursery with a wall of metallic silver wallpaper and pink walls but was having trouble finding bedding that I liked that matched. I came across the Coco Dot Bedding on Pottery Barn Kids on clearance as it was a discontinued style so my train of thought changed. I then came across "Chloe's Nursery" on Project Nursery and fell in love!

Glider & ottoman came from my sister. I had it reupholstered in pink.

Chandelier was given to me by my mom.

Side table came from TJ Maxx and I spray painted white.

Butterfly decals came from Target.

4 drawer polka dot dresser came from Hobby Lobby-on SALE!

 

Favorite Items

Definitely the painting that my sister-in-law painted! I came across the idea on Pinterest and sent it to her and asked her to come up with something like it. She exceeded my expectations by far and its something Kambel can have forever!

Advice

Project Nursery and Pinterest are excellent resources to find a look. Once you get an idea of what you like, use Google images, eBay, Etsy to get more ideas and find pieces to finish your project. Don't be afraid to use your imagination and creativity! Get ideas online and make them yourself.
