Judah’s Serenity

Description

I love this room!! It was sooooo much fun! It was my goal to see how much money I didn't have to spend, what I could make myself and what I could use that I already had.  It was a blast.....and of course my husband was thrilled that I didn't spend a ton of money!!  I wanted it to be modern but have some vintage items in the mix. My two favorite things are the wall with the open frames(all of which I had at home that weren't being used except for the the circle green one and I payed $4.00 on clearance) and the name above his bed.  I painted each one by hand....they were all blank canvas when I started! I encourage anyone to see what they can do on their own...if they have the time.  There are soooo many resources out there to use as a guide for doing things yourself!! :)

Design Inspiration

Didn't really have an inspiration.....I just picked the colors out of the bedding and went from there! I wanted the colors to flow with the rest of our house.  We have lots of browns and green.  But, I wanted to add a little color.  This works perfectly!

Decorating Style

I don't think I really have a style....I just pick things I like and try to fit them together! :)

I know it’s been a little while now, but can you tell me what color/brand you used on the wall please?

I’m not a fan of the color you used for your wall, but I think adding in pops of green, white and dark brown really worked for the room. It’s kinda charming.

I’m glad you had fun putting this nursery together without having to shell out hundreds of dollars. I really like rooms that aren’t too extravagant, because they are the ones that are a labor of love and it shows in every corner.
