JB’s Spacey Nursery

Description

Boy's room with a color scheme and accessories that will grow with him.

Design Inspiration

I loved the colors in the bedding and the simple pattern.   You can't really see the bedding in these pictures, but it's the same fabric that's on the changing pad cover.  It's from the DwellStudio for Target Space line.

Decorating Style

I wanted this room to be a place that was obviously a boy's space, but not too theme-y or babyish.

Project Details

I made the curtains and pennant banner.  More details can be foud at my blog:  thethriftyabode.blogspot.com

Favorite Items

I love the pennant banner and gallery wall.

Advice

DIY as much as you can when you're working with a budget.  My accessories and paint only cost about $75!

Pretty sure the crib and changing table was from JCPenney. I have the same set but don’t see it on the website now.

Where did you get the crib?

This nursery is the cutest one I have seen, I will be using many of the ideas for my little mans new room. Thank you! Where did you get the lamp from?

Do you mind telling where you found the curtains? SO cute!

I wish I could say that I made that mobile, but I didn’t!

Looking at your photos, I just had to check your blog out. Cool. The title alone — The Thrifty Abode — and the blog description are interesting enough. I love the solar system mobile, too!

At first glance I thought it was a nautical theme. Maybe because of the navy blue colors. Really nice and clean room. I like the planets mobile. Is that a DIY project?
