Casual woodland creature couple's shower.
Jessica was using owls in her nursery so I wanted to carry the nursery theme into the baby shower and embellish a bit, I found a ton of inspiration on Project Nursery and on Pinterest. I wanted it to be a bit eclectic and to feel casual.

All desserts baked by myself or family.
I really loved the favors I put together. The adults got S'mores kits and the children got woodland creature mask my mother in law and myself put together.
I would say that as soon as you know you are hosting a shower to start saving ideas. Give yourself enough time to plan :) I started saving ideas the second I knew Jessica was pregnant. I used found items around the house, I went to Goodwill every Friday after work looking for little woodland creatures, I didn't want them to be matchy matchy. I enlisted a friend to help me cut up tree stumps and logs for the cupcake and cake displays. Oh and lots of burlap was used which really lent to the woodland feel :)
