I have always loved birthdays, so when it came time to throw our first baby his 1st birthday I knew I wanted it to be perfect. I wanted to keep it low stress and make a lot of the decor my self but also make sure that it was baby friendly with bold, bright colors and lots of fun! Some people say that the 1st birthday is just for the parents, but I gave our son Ryker lots of new objects to entertain and spark curiosity. Babies love shiny things and since it was his ‘golden’ birthday I decided to add gold details. I love how it turned out and we had so much fun celebrating this little boy’s first year with us! My advice would be to not stress, make the party what you want. Set some goals and then go for it!
