Hudson’s Great Adventure Nursery

Description

For Hudson's adventure nursery, we wanted something modern, fun and playful. I try to let the design form as I work and I rarely have an end result in mind while designing. Most of the items in this space are handmade by me including my very first quilt! My hope is that the space will become one that he can grow with.

Design Inspiration

More often than not, my designs evolve on their own. I knew for sure that I had to have the Hudson crib by Babyletto and then I spotted this awesome mountain mural and put my own spin on it.
Orange lamp: Jonathon Adler

Decorating Style

My decorating style tends to lean a little to the modern side but I try to keep it cozy as well.

What colors did you use on the wall with the mountain? I went to Lowes tonight, but I can’t seem to find a pretty, bright, blue that I love.

Nichole, What colors did you use for the sky and mountains? I want to do this for my sons room. I love the colors you chose.

What is the gray color on the walls? I’m having the hardest time finding a nice gray like that.

    Clair-
I bought a roll of vinyl at hobby lobby and found a graphic I wanted. I created the tree on a piece of poster board and used it as a template. just draw on the back of the vinyl so you don’t see any ink when you cut them out!

I love this! Would you be willing to share a bit more info on how you did the DIY vinyl wall – I’m hoping to do something similar since we will be in an apartment and can’t paint. Thanks!!
