Description
I wanted to create a happy and calming space that my little guy could grow with. I also needed to enjoy the room myself, it helps to love it during all those late night feedings.
Design Inspiration
My husband is Australian and although we live in Virginia, I wanted Harvey to have a little bit of Australia with him at all times. My focus was on koalas and kangaroos but I threw in other Aussie animals and sport as well.
Decorating Style
In every other room of my house I'd say that I'm very traditional. In the nursery I was drawn to a more modern look, but I still kept the furniture traditional.
