Harper’s Birthday Party

Description

I'm not sure I really had a "theme" for the party, but I decided on objects to use based on colors: pink, green, orange, purple and blue. Anything I liked went! Polka dots, butterflies, cupcakes, pom-poms! It turned out girlie with a bright, garden theme. All the parties on Project Nursery were a great inspiration! Especially the "Modern Garden" birthday party, and anything from Kim at the TomKat Studio!

Project Details

The party craft and invite patterns are a print-yourself set from happypapers.etsy.com (the Cupcake set!). The cupcake papers are from Martha Stewart, and so is the ribbon for the banner and the pom-poms (purchased at Michael's).  Harper's tutus are from fairywonderful.com (and they have an etsy shop).  The paper plates, napkins and table cloths were all purchased from Wal-Mart -- simple and bright!

Advice

Go all out - even though they won't remember the party - so take lots of pictures! They only turn 1 once!!  It's all about the pictures!!
