Griffin’s Little Man Party

Description

We celebrated our baby turning into a "little man" on his second birthday with lots of ties and mustaches!

Design Inspiration

I think I first saw the little man theme over on Smitty Baby and instantly loved it!

Decorating Style

Modern but with a smidge of vintage.

Project Details

Melt the crayons in a nonstick pot on the stove! It took me way to long to figure this out.

Favorite Items

I loved the necktie pendants - they had such an impact for so little work.  I also loved having the typewriter out for the kids to play on - they loved it!

Advice

You can't have too many mustaches!

Where did you get the toy hammer favors?

I kinda miss those days when all we had was the typewriter. Typewriters make me feel nostalgic. I have to say that I love your vintage theme. The sight of little corporate guys with mustache must have been really cute. I just hope they did understand the concept. After all, they live in rather different times.

I never get to see how the parties turn out after people buy my invites. I absolutely love the cookies and all the little mustache details. I hope Griffin had a wonderful time.

Looks like the boys really had fun, and so did you! I think the sign “Your head exists only as a home for your mustache” really added a sense of humor to the mustache party concept.
