I wanted to give my second son, Henry, a fun and fresh nursery while also using the hand me downs from his older brother's room. I've always loved green (it's the 2017 Pantone color!) and wanted to loosely tie in the woodland theme - I fell in love with the chair fabric first which was my original inspiration. My husband made the side table next to the chair from a tree in our backyard which turned out perfect. Everything else fell together around that. Black, white, and grey seemed to compliment and showcase the bold green color best and also give the room a cozy feel.
