I love the big world map and little animal magnets idea. I think it’s a great and creative way of introducing your son’s mixed race and multi-cultural roots. And it’s neat that you added stuff from various other countries to complete your around-the-world theme. I am actually drooling over those cute Totoro figurines. I love Totoro!

I have to echo what Avalon said. You have come up with an amazing idea to introduce your child to his different cultural or racial roots.Doing this early on will help him be secure and proud of his identity, and this will be very helpful in the long run.
