Graham’s Modern Blue/Gray/Orange Nursery

Description

I wanted to create a simple and modern nursery for our baby boy. I also wanted to make sure the room could grow with him. I absolutely love the way it all came together.

Design Inspiration

The color inspiration came from a bathroom in my old condo. I had used Carolina blue, orange and brown. I loved it, but thought brown would be too dark and replaced it with gray. My main colors were blue and gray, using orange as my accent color. I used the transportation theme bedding because it had the orange/gray/blue combo and also because my husband works in motor sports and I knew he'd be giving Graham many things that go!

Decorating Style

I think my decorating style is classic with a modern twist.

I love his name sign. I think it's the centerpiece of the room. I actually found it browsing through your gallery and had it made in a slightly different color scheme.

Nice nursery. I like the subtle colors with pops of blue and orange. The helicopter mobile is really cute, too.

I think the colors come together really nicely in this modern nursery. It's fresh, appealing and fun! Looks very comfortable too -- love that chair! :)
