Georgia’s Vintage Modern Nursery

Description

Vintage Modern nursery for baby girl.

Design Inspiration

I always knew I wanted an orange nursery for my first baby.  It's my favorite color and so fun to work with.

Decorating Style

I'd say my style is eclectic.  I have designer chairs next to items I've picked up on the side of the road.  Everything that I like ends up melding together to look just right.

Project Details

Headboard - I pulled the frame out of someone's trash.  I had the mustard velvet already on hand so my mom and I spent an afternoon tufting.

Bedspread - It took me forever to find just a plain white quilt.  Bed, Bath, & Beyond finally had one...Real Simple brand.  It's fabulous (and reversible!).

Rug and Bed Skirt - both from  West Elm.  The rug is reversible which is great.

Rocking Frog - gift from my mom from Zulily.

Crib - hand-me-down from my sister.

Shelving - vintage bamboo from my Mawmaw

Rocker and side table - both from Ikea.

Changing table - gift from my mom

Baskets - all from Land of Nod.  They have the best storage!

Curtains- Pottery Barn Cameron drapes with custom ribbon

Shade - fabric from Spoonflower

Paintings - I painted these myself!  Check out Logan Berard on Etsy or on my website.

Favorite Items

I love the headboard and the rug.  Both can grow with Georgia, or be used in another room later on.

Advice

Not everything in the nursery has to be purchased in the baby section!!

It's a great-looking orange nursery. Love your bed, by the way.
