Genevieve’s Nursery

Description

We wanted to have a room that was not over girly and felt crisp and clean for the small space. We went with a shade of gray with white accents and little pops of color throughout. We re purposed several things thanks to white spray paint and worked on keeping the costs minimal.

Design Inspiration

clean open feel for a tight space

Decorating Style

vintage modern

Project Details

The closet doors were painted an off white before so we used chalkboard paint and painted them with that so we could write down nursery needs such as diapers, wipes etc and little notes to the baby. The baby will be able to use them when she is older for her own artwork.

I wallpapered the one crib wall with Allen Roths wallpaper from Lowes and we then had paint matched to the gray color for the rest of the walls.

I made a photo wall with a mix of Ikea shelves and random frames some new and some re purposed.

The white fluffy rug is from Target to help soften the room.

Love your paint color. What shade is it and where is it from?

Really love your room. Where did you get your clock at?

It’s nice that you got ultrasound prints framed in white and hanged them on the wall. Also like the maternity photo. Very nice room, by the way.

Very lovely and pretty room. Yeah, I really like the clean and crisp feel to it, as well as the pops of bright colors everywhere (very true to your description).
