I transformed Gabrielle’s room from a very young, whimsical space, to a more mature room appropriate for a teenager.
A happy, colorful space using Blue, Pink and Orange
Typically, I tend to have a traditional/whimsical decorating style for kid’s rooms. The style for this room is eclectic – mixture of modern and traditional elements.

I adore anything by Stray Dog Designs, and I love this hand blown green glass lamp with the turquoise leaf finial. It’s such a cool piece.
When designing a room for a teen, I think it is important to have fun with the project, and collaborate with your teen so that the final product is a personal and cool space.
