Description
A classy little lady's room awaits with all things pink and gray, ruffles, and of course a little bit of sparkle.
Design Inspiration
Knowing that if my husband and I were having a daughter I wanted her to have a crystal chandelier and incorporate vintage carousel photos that we had taken during a recent visit to Paris.
Decorating Style
Classic
Project Details
We installed crown molding along with a chair rail and three wooden squares on each of the walls to add some design to the room.
I love potterybarn kids and restoration hardware baby and child for the quality and endless classic looks they offer. My main goal was to create a room that could easily transform into a toddler room with out appearing too "babyish" yet still be cozy and comforting during these early months.
Furniture is from PBK
Bedding and rug are from RHBC
Chair, frames, and night stand are from IKEA
Shelves are from hobby lobby
We used Benjamin Moore paint- Stonington Gray is the color
Favorite Items
The Mia Chandelier from PBK and the framed carousel photos as they remind me of Paris.
Advice
Find one item you must have. For me it was a chandelier and from there the decorating came together.
Thank you for the compliments.
The baskets and gingham liners are from PBK. The liners are sold separately.
I just adore how clean this room looks without feeling empty. I think that the photos and the framed images you have there makes this room cozier. Did you get the storage baskets at hobby lobby too? Did it come with the pink fringes?
I think you did great work with this room. I can imagine Elle loving this room. The chandelier is a great starting point, I agree. Also, gray is not my favorite color, but it certainly did good here.
