While a pandemic pregnancy is not something we ever would have expected or chosen for ourselves, we have chosen to make the best of it by using it as an opportunity to spend more time together as a family, and to prepare for the arrival of our new bundle of joy.  My 6 year old identical twin girls, husband and I all worked together on the vision for the room.  We wanted the room to be girly, but still relatively neutral and sophisticated, so we added picture molding and painted a majority of the room in a warm white to set the tone.  The floral wallpaper is the focal point of the room, and was the starting point for the vision, after which everything fell into place.  Designing this room has given me an outlet and focal point during the pandemic, and I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to slow down and make everything perfect for our baby girl!
