I’ve always loved coral and flowers! I wanted a bright and cheerful nursery for our little girl and one that felt a bit vintage, using items found at estate sales. I painted, with helping some items as I was very pregnant, every piece of furniture. As they say, it was a labor of love. ☺️ The crib was previously a bronze finish, the side table and chest of drawers were a dark brown finish, the bookshelf was a different color blue, the armoire was green and the little rocker was also a brown finish. Each item was painted a new color coordinating the bedding I fell in love with from Carousel Designs. I wanted to have a touch of gold in the nursery, so some of the knobs on the dresser are gold, the chains on the vintage lamps are gold, a few frames and I found gold polka dot wrapping paper to line the back of the bookshelves. I love how it reflects on the sides of the bookshelf. I found the rug on Land of Nod, and liked the vintage feel it had with it being a braided fabric. Another item I love is the picture hanging above the crib that I painted myself. I love the song “What a Wonderful World” and thought it was a beautiful message for the nursery. Something different I did this time was to paint the ceiling pink, which creates a beautiful hue in the room and also painted the bathroom cabinet a bold coral. I absolutely love everything about our sweet Finley’s nursery!
