Faisal’s modern safari nursery revolved around the amazon stone chevron wall. The other items in the nursery don’t compete with the bold pattern, but compliment it in a clean, simple way. I had to absolutely love each item in order for it to find a home in Faisal’s nursery!

Love the room, and love the idea of painting the book shelves! Did you have to sand them first before painting?

I did not sand them, but after the fact, I would’ve given them a little scrub. It took a few coats of paint, but overall they turned out great.

I like the bookshelves in the corner and those hanging yellow and turquoise ceramic lamps (or are they lamps?)

I used a circle cutter, card stock, and jewelry clasps. The top part that they are all connected to is in the plant section of your craft store.
Each circle is .5 inches smaller than the next and I used an ombre color scheme
