Emory’s Nursery

Description

This is a project for our first baby, Emory Kathleen.  We went for a vintage feel incorporating little birds throughout the room.

Design Inspiration

The vintage beadboard in the room and the bedding found on etsy.com were both inspirations for the project.

Decorating Style

I love all decorating styles! Vintage, modern, eclectic, traditional.. it just depends on the project!

Project Details

Bed- Venetian Iron Crib by Bratt Decor Curtains- JCPenney Rug- Shaggy Raggy White

Favorite Items

My favorite part of the room is the iron crib and bedding.  The crib is new but has the vintage feel I wanted to match the older style of our home.

Advice

The internet is a great place to get design ideas and inspiration.  Use your favorite ideas from others to create a room that is unique to your personal style, combining all of those favorite things!

That mirror is amazing!!! Do you mind telling me where you found it or what brand it is? Thanks so much!

Love you sweet little room! I especially love the letters your husband made. Ingenious! I think I'm going to steal your idea for the floating shelves, if you don't mind :) I have some and have been wanting to put some in my daughter's room (21 months) So creative!

Thank you all so much! The walls are old beadboard painted white. My husband cut the letters out of plywood and we painted them. He also cut the tree out of plywood and painted it. We used a projector to trace it onto the wood. We bought floating shelves from Lowe's and attached them to the tree.
