Eclectic Non-Theme Nursery

Description

A nursery for our first little guy that felt more grown up.  This was previously our guest room and was already painted this color and I really wanted to leave the walls neutral.  I brought in color with accessories that include a lot of items we love.

Design Inspiration

Our design inspiration was finding things we loved without worrying about a theme.  My husband and I enjoy music, art, books, and movies and this eclectic mix became our 'non-theme' theme.

Decorating Style

I like to mix modern with vintage for a more eclectic style.

Project Details

-Crib from Walmart (Baby Mod)

-Chair from Wayfair

-Bookcase from IKEA

-Dresser was a Craigslist find, painted yellow and added owl handles to the top (from Hobby Lobby)

-Peg Board was made by my husband

-Curtains from Lowes

-Giraffe painting was picked up at an art fair on a recent trip

I love the DIY mobile over the crib and how the dresser and peg board turned out.
