Description
I created this party for my sons 3rd birthday. He loves the show "The cat in the hat knows a lot about that" so that is where I started. Being Pregnant and in June I knew I wanted to find a venue that was indoors and age appropriate. The party was hosted at a toddler play place called Hopscotch. I started a few month back making and planning all the decor and collecting candy jar and candy ;) I knew I wanted to feature a candy station, since Easton loves candy ;) haha All decor was made by EAE Personalized CreationsDesign Inspiration
My sons favorite show right now is "The cat in the hat knows a lot about that" on PBS, So I started there and it just took off ;)

Favorite Items
My favorite fixture was the candy table.... It was a lot of fun planning colors and containers and seeing how it all came together
I also loved the pin the hat on the cat game... I saw something similar on a blog and loved the idea... I created my own banner and bought 'hats' at the parent teacher store and all the kids enjoyed the game.
Advice
Have fun, and happy planning ;)
Love the party theme. I would love to get some invites like those for my sons 3rd part. He loves Cat in the Hat and is having a jump house.
Thanks Ladies! It was a lot of work but I am please by how everything came out… and this morning when I was leaving for work , he looked at me and said “Momma you are the best” which of course melted my heart!
I ordered his shirt of http://www.zulily.com not sure of the boutique it came from but I have had it for a few months ;)
Wow so many goodies and treats on the candy table! It’s a haven for sweet-toothed kids. Love his Dr. Seuss shirt, too. Where did you get it? Or did you have it especially printed for him? Like the party favors as well.
Great job! I loved all the little details and how you incorporated so many different things that has to do with Cat in the Hat. I’m planning the same theme for my son’s bday right now since he also loves the show. It’s so cute and unisex. I loved the invitation too…you’re son is such a handsome fella.
