The idea was to create a party in a park, for a little girl turning 1 and her brother turning 3.
They both adore Dora and Diego so my goal was to decorate the party to represent both of their birthdays while keeping the colors unisex.

Hi ChristineS. I'm waiting with bated breath!!! I'd love to see what you do with that theme :) By the way, I've visited your blog and LEARNED A LOT from it :) Love the crafts and the easy to do stuff. And your parties, you should share them here too!!!

CreativeCrumbs,You are right. I have a boy and a girl with almost the same birthdays. Their last party was a "Sweet Shoppe" and "Spiderman" which was definitely not a blend. I have a really cool idea for the next birthday though "Treasures and Tiaras" . It is kind of a Pirate and Princess with a twist. Stay tuned @ http://simplyiced.blogspot.com/

The cake looks really yummy. I think that the Dora and Diego theme is really perfect for a brother and sister joint birthday celebration. It's great that they both love these characters. Otherwise, a Dora and a Transformers, or a Hello Kitty and Spongebob theme would be so off. haha.
