Description
My husband and I are newlyweds and bought our first home in August 2012. Shortly after in October, Suprise!, we were pregnant! After spending most of our savings on our home there wasn't a lot left for the designer nursery of my dreams. I started looking online for deals and pinterest for nursery designs. Total the room came in at $3,000 and I could not be happier with the result!
Design Inspiration
I love chic designer nurseries that come with big price tags! I found rooms online that I loved and then found ways to get the same look for much less. I didn't want a "baby" room, I wanted something fun and elegant that could grow with her as she got older.
Decorating Style
My personal taste is very eclectic. I love everything from shabby chic to contemporary. For the nursery I definitely wanted a room fit for a Diva!

Favorite Items
I have a few favorite items in Karolina's room. My husband bought the rocker and ottoman as a gift. This was the first piece I had for the room and ultimately what inspired the nursery. My other favorite item is the dog bed. This is an item that I made for my other baby, a Miniature Pincher named Petey.
Advice
Buy items that you love and never, EVER pay retail! A designer look can be achieved for much less if you shop around and wait to find a bargain.
Cute little pink mirror! And like Dee, I also love that body form in the very sexy black dress.
