Cookie Monster First Birthday Party

Description

At 4 months old, Aryana would giggle loudly as we said on our cutest voice "Cookie Monster".  She also has a cookie monster puppet that she loves!

I decided with this connection to do a Cookie Monster Theme.

Design Inspiration

I wanted the decor and theme of the games to be Cookie monster. My sister did all the DYI project with ideas from Pintrest. I wanted to incorporate Pinwheels because I loved the way they stood out on a Sephora Display

Decorating Style

Fun, bright and colorful

Project Details

On the cake table, we used Pinwheels to decorate it. We made these at home using paper we bought at Hobby Lobby. We used a Chevron Design.

We got Bubbles and customized the wrappers with Sesame Street Characters.

We made a '123 Aryana Street Sign"

We created our own games for the Kids:  Pin the Cookie on Cookie Monster Mouth and a Ball Toss to see how many we can get inside Cookie Monster Mouth.

Favorite Items

The Pinwheels and the Cookie Monster Box and the 123 Aryana Street Sign that we placed at the doorway entry

Advice

For a First Birthday, not to worry so much about the Princess theme for Girls. Pay attention to what you child is drawn to, what makes her laugh. Then incorporate that into the birthday party.

That Cookie Monster shooting game is a nice idea. Easy to do, too.

Thank You! I think the bakery did a wonderful job also. I will be using them for her second birthday!
