Colorful Woodland Nursery

Description

I wanted a nursery with gray walls, white furniture, and lots of pops of color!

Decorating Style

Modern, colorful, with clean lines.

Project Details

The crib was handmade by my Dad and turned out exactly how I wanted it!  It is so solid.

The dresser was one that my husband used as a child - we painted it white.

Cube bookcase came from IKEA.

Rocker recliner came from local furniture store.

End table I found at an auction for $2 and painted it white.

I found the lamps as a set new in box at Goodwill, spray painted the bases green, and recovered the lampshades.

My mother-in-law sewed the curtains from fabric I picked out at Jo-Ann's.

I hand painted the aqua branch art above the changing table/dresser.

The prints are from Etsy - http://www.etsy.com/listing/66698538/woodland-critters-series-set-of-3.  They were the original inspiration for the room!

Favorite Items

I love the Woodland prints I found on Etsy, they completely inspired the room.

Great room! Where did you get the pink and polka dot storage boxes? Thanks!

Thanks for the comments! The gray we used was "Dovetail" by Sherwin Williams. It is a very true gray, not too blue or green.

I like how simple the room is, but not without a few touches of whimsies. You should have uploaded more photos, really.

Lovely room. Love the $2 end table and the green lamps. May I ask what color grey you used on the walls? It's perfect, not too light or dark.

The aqua branch art is definitely my favorite item in this room. And most especially with the fact that it's a DIY project. Great job!
