Project Details
We hosted a surprise baby shower for our friends from New York when they flew across county for our baby's 1st birthday. It was a simple one as we were hosting 2 parties back to back and this one had to be a surprise. Most of the decorations and CAKE were store bought, but I had fun making the little details and organizing everything. Details of the party here.

Advice
When organizing a party, you can go all out or make it simple yet fun. If you want to make it simple, buy coordinating themed party decorations and design your food, activities and setup to go with it.

I can see it's a very small and intimate affair. Nice. The framed photos provide a lovely backdrop to your dessert table.

Thank You Florence. It was a small group, just 5 families including parents to be. But it was much fun to host for a smaller group, compared to the 60+ party we had hosted the day before. There is a lot more we can do.

Simple yet lovely party. But despite the simplicity, I love that you gave it a festive touch by adding the bright and colorful lanterns and garlands above the dessert table.
