Elliott’s Cobalt, Coral, Gold and Gray Nursery!

Description

Elliott's Cobalt, Coral, Gold and Gray Nursery!

Design Inspiration

I love that coral is a trendy color right now...just girly enough without being totally pink!

Decorating Style

For Ellie's nursery, I wanted to stay away from a "theme". I don't know if I have a decorating style, but I love bringing in DIY elements (refurbished furniture, shelves, and burlap banner) with a teeny bit of glam (hence the gold and ruffly curtains!)

Project Details

Bookshelves/picture shelves: Created by my hubs

Changing table and side table: repurposed by my hubs as well!

Burlap/fabric bunting: created by me!

Favorite Items

I just love the bedding because it was created by my friend as a one-of-a-kind item! I also love the changing table, I think my husband did an amazing job re-finishing it (it originally cost $75 at the thrift store!)

Love her name so much I am pregnant and naming her Elliott, but really don’t want to shorten it. Hope she likes it!

Do you know the paint color of the dresser?

  4. avatar Hayley says:

Absolutely precious nursery!! How did your husband make the bookshelves/ picture shelves? We have our daughters first and last name in wooden letters and would love to do some thing similar above her changing table.

What was the name of the bedding fabric? I really love this entire set up, but I am having trouble finding the fabric. Thanks

I love the name you’ve chosen, I’ve always wanted to have twin girls named Elliot (Ellie) and Evan (Evie) and I’ve never heard of anyone else using Elliot for a girls’ name.

Hello! I just wanted to say congratulations on such a beautiful room. I am completely floored by the look and design of the room! I love the funky case pieces you parred even though it’s not from us! I wish our companies did some funky colors like this! So awesome! Congratulations on your new baby. Thank you for featuring us on your article! We hope you love the chair!

Such a cute room!! Where did you get the letters and what did you paint them? Thanks!

We have a girl Elliot too! Elliot Claire. She’s 6 now and insists on being Ellie. Meh. She’s “feel it” again when she’s a teenager. :-) Like your design, LOVE the name!

Champion Colbalt is a favorite! It’s such a gorgeous color and changes with the light! My nursery will be so similar…..we’re using Naragensett Green (which looks blue) with a teal dresser and white crib. The overall effect is very similar and so I love it!

This whole room is just darling – love the color combo and especially the bedding and the dresser. Great job :)

This is just precious!! Love the banners above the crib.

I super love the colors: a darker shade of blue, a lighter shade of pink, and gold accents. I also love the simple, not-over-the-top decor.
