When we found out we're having a baby, I began designing the nursery, at least in my head, immediately! I knew that I would be spending a tremendous amount of time in the nursery, so I wanted the space to be soothing and serene. More details are on my blog.
I had a general idea of what I wanted the nursery to look and feel like. We then came across the radio flyer car and worked around it. Pulling out the wood tones and injecting soft blue/gray shades to give the space a soothing feel.
A mixture of traditional, contemporary and vintage.
You can find a detailed resources list here.
Furniture - Restoration Hardware
Rocker - Buy Buy Baby
Chandelier - Restoration Hardware
The vintage radio flyer car and the rocking donkey.
Start early! It takes a lot of time to put the space together the way you envision it. Especially if you're working full time like I used to, I would get on it asap.

Hi, lovely nursery. What’s the wall the color?
Hi Jane, It looks like it’s from RH Baby & Child. However this nursery was published five years ago, so that style is not likely to still be available. Maybe they will have something similar though? Good luck in your search!
Hi! I’m having trouble with the link. What type of crib is this? It’s beautiful and just the style I;m looking for. Thanks so much, Jane

Very handsome nursery
great color matching! love it!
Wow what a beautiful room! I love how calm and soft everything is. I especially like that the decor is not overwhelming. I could spend hours in that space.
