Chic-French Girl Nursery

Design Inspiration

I wanted Amelia's room to be chic, girlie, warm and elegant. I started looking for bedding options and found a lot of inspiration from Glenna Jean's collections, then the rest went from there. I've always liked antique-french decoration and the nursery was the perfect project to use it. I also used birds/birdcages as an inspiration, and the wall painting was inspired in the storybook The Golden Egg.

Decorating Style

Vintage-french.

Project Details

Crib, dresser, changing tray, bookcase and night table are from Bratt Decor Chelsea White collection. I changed the knobs to crystal flower ones I found on Amazon.

The armoire belonged to my parents and they passed it on to me, had it painted to match the furniture.

The painter who did the wall decoration also did a few details on the furniture, specially the armoire.

Crib bedding is Glenna Jean's Victoria collection. Bumper, skirt and diaper stacker.

Twin bed bedding and drapes were custom made by a local store.

Lamp is from The Land of Nod

Trash can and tissue box are from KooKooBear Kids.

Hanging birdcages are from Palacio de Hierro, a Mexican department store.

The wreath I bought for the hospital's door for when she was born. it was made by a local party planner/desginer.

Favorite Items

My favorite item is probably the armoire because of the history behind it and I love how it turned out.
