Charlie’s Room

Description

My husband and I did all of the work in his room.  I used dressers that we already had, and refinished them using chalk paint.  We picked up items from various locations when we were out and about throughout the pregnancy.  We love the way his room turned out!

Design Inspiration

We started with the crib and went from there.  I then decided on a color palette and began purchasing items that went with the color scheme.

Decorating Style

Our design style is more of a modern/rustic feel and we wanted to also include that feel in the nursery.

Project Details

The crib is from Babies-R-Us and part of the Truly Scrumptious Line

The two dressers are ones that we already had and I refinished them using a homemade chalk paint

We purchased the chevron rug from Rugs USA

The ladder, tin letters, tin picture frame, and wooden crate all came from an antique show

The wire motorcycle, chalkboard sign, and picture frames came from Hobby Lobby

The curtains are from Target

Favorite Items

My favorite items are the tin letters above his crib and the dressers. I love the way the dressers turned out!
