Calling All Webkinz

Description

Simple, bright and colorful WEBKINZ party on a budget!

Design Inspiration

My daughter loves Webkinz! So I used all the colors in the Webkinz logo (orange, purple, blue, pink, yellow, and green) to decorate for her party!

Decorating Style

Simple and personal and inexpenive!

Project Details

I bought 6 different patterned papers from the scrapbooking section of Michaels. I matched them with the solid colors found in the Webkinz logo. I made the invitations by hand and made cute little paw prints which I used in the invites, for the collars of the kids, for the games at the party, and for the Thank You goodie bags. I also used these papers to make a HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOY banner. I bought a 2-pack of yellow streamers from Dollar Tree.

For the table, each place setting had a Webkinz coloring page (printed from the Webkinz website), as set of crayons, a pet collar, and pet ears, which I made from headbands and foam paper that I bought from Dollar Tree. While the kids were coloring, I pulled each one away and painted their face as the animal that they RSVP'd as - making each child a webkinz!

For snacks, I made puppy chow, and bought regular and frosted animal crackers. For the cake I decorated with purple frosting, per my daughters request, and added a paw print on top.

For games, we played Find the Owner's Shoe, Search and Rescue, Dr. Quack needs Help, and Webkinz Hot Potato.

It was a fun and simple party that I was able to do for about $35!

Favorite Items

My favorite items were the paw prints that I made as well as the HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOY banner.
