Brynn and Laila’s Shared Room

Description

A shared room by my two daughters ages 4 and newborn

Design Inspiration

We made my oldest daughters room purple and I still very much loved it. When we found out our second was going to be a girl, we decided to have the girls share a room and keep it purple. My inspiration was keeping the purple and the gorgeous Suzani print that matched perfectly.

Decorating Style

Clean, fun, bright but sophisticated.

Project Details

Furniture was purchased through a local baby boutique. It is Capretti Toscana Collection. We wanted something that could grow with our first daughter. It has held up beautifully and we love it's classic style. All of the bedding was made from Etsy seller Nursery Dreams. She did an amazing job helping me choose fabrics and pieces. She made the crib bedding (bumper, blanket and skirt), she also made the twin/day bed duvet cover, throw pillow and body pillow covers. She did a fabulous job on the black out curtains too. The rocker is from the brand Little Castle and the fabric is Crushed Silver. Rug is from Target and most of the accessories/frames/lamp are DIY. Name letters are from butterflycraze.com

Favorite Items

I LOVE how their names turned out. The gray paint really makes the white letters pop and I love the clean simplicity of the lowercase letters.

Advice

Pick one thing that you love (for me it was the Suzani print) and build around it. Have fun!
