Brooklyn’s Nursery

Description

Baby girl nursery on a budget.  I wanted a nursery that had girly aspects without the flowers and butterflies.   I had a very small room to work with so it was very important not to get to many pieces of furniture in the room to avoid over crowding.

Design Inspiration

My inspiration was the bedding I had designed on Etsy.  I wanted a room full of bright vibrant colors and fun designs. Chevron is very popular right now and I also wanted to incorporate that.  Also you can't go wrong with Pinterest - loved searching and getting ideas to help incorporate into her Nursery.

Decorating Style

I don't have any particular style however I wanted something bright and fun in her room that would grown with her.

Other frames were thrift store finds then painted to accent the room.

Crib - hand me down.

Glider was a $20 craigslist find spray painted white and then I added a outdoor chair pad found at Target on clearance.

DIY - vinyl gutter bookshelves.

Few gifts and hand me down items to complete the room such as the shelf, bow holder and other baby changing accessories.

Pom Poms are a must in any nursery right now - they were used for my baby shower then incorporated into the Nursery.

Favorite Items

My favorite item would have to be the name decal over the crib.
